LINK TO "SHADES OF GREY" GIVE AWAY
Remember my talking about www.craftgate.
Since my trip to 2008 Winter CHA, two really fantastic magazines have had to cease publication: Creative TECHniques I will miss the most, there was no other magazine like it! the focus was on "computer assisted" crafts and scrapbooking, instead of all digi and today I found out that "Gift Maker" magazine is finished too. Not to mention that The Rubber Stamper Magazine was sold and closed late last fall.
If you can find the time, please promote your craft and learning of it in your local communities and your online communities.
start hanging out at www.craftgate.com , we will be planning a very big MAY, lots of activities and prizes, details to follow.

Isn't it sad....
Top Line Creations (TLC), a direct sales company that was consultant based, decided that they will desolve their consultant base and become a "members only" store.
In a span of 5 to 6 months, 5 LSSs closed in my area.
Decided to go another route and teach scrapbooking to a specific community...the Japanese. Seems to be a hit and I haven't even advertised (yet! LOL!!). Just doing my part :0)
