My First set of Signature Stamps!

Well, OK, I don't know if there will be others, but here is the very FIRST set that I compiled because I just love decorative flourishes! These stamps are being offered EXCLUSIVELY through Hearts In Touch Rubber Stamps Inc. They are a full sheet 8x10" of unmounted red rubber! The BEST there is!

only $20 for all of the images!

They are "Unmounted" so if you need Creative Cling sheets, make sure you add one to your cart, then you will need to cut them and use acrylic blocks when stamping!

woohoo!

REMEMBER THE ART!

While you are managing the rest of your holiday shopping, won't you consider the gift of art? Please support your local art galleries. This is also the time of year when art galleries run special "shows" that include crafty items, hand painted decor items and cards featuring hand made art images.

The Sanford-Springvale Art Association Gallery is located down-town on Main Street right next to the Town Hall where they've installed a gorgeous new time piece. Please stop by and have a look at all of the great art on display and for sale. The members of the SSAA also have art on display at the Goodall Hospital, Goodall Library and the Springvale Library just to name a few, there are also local businesses that support the program by having art hung in their retail establishments. So, the next time you find yourself in a room or business decorated with great art, see if it's for sale by one of the local artists.

Merry Christmas and Chanukah to you!

What I did this weekend...................

In the midst of the end of year hub-bub and holiday craziness, I needed to take time out to refocus my energy and attention to a birthday party for my daughter who turned 14 years. whew, that's over!

We started decorating Christmas balls with fine art glitter (www.ladeda.com) as the kids arrived so they'd be dry by the time the party was over (and to keep them out of the goodie bags!) Then we opened the gifts, I'm pretty sure her favorite was the air-soft gun and gear from her best cousins: Chris, AJ and Erik. Then we pigged out on cake and the kids were off to play! (Wine was uncorked at this point) There was only 1 sleep over this year and the birthday was a success! whew another year................................(adhesive by Scotch: Quick Dry Tacky Adhesive)

The cake was GORGEOUS and YUMMY too! Created by my BFF Donna Morin who is available locally to create cakes to order. djmorin05@gmail.com THANKS DONNA! it was awesome.

Moon Glow's Mist and Spritz

Moon Glow's Mist & Spritz

Best Kept Bling Secret

Bling is in! Moon Glow's by Lindy's Stamp Gang is the best kept secret of the bling revolution. Shadow Mist is a fine balance of distress, antique and bling! An old world walnut stain formula with lustrous hidden colors of shimmery pigments. Glitz Spritz is all that but without the walnut ink. I discovered this versatile medium about two years ago but rubber stamp and multimedia artists have been hoarding it for much longer. The packaging is deceiving, do not let it fool you with it's puny looking bottle and simple label, this product will amaze and delight you!

They are packaged dry, so you are not paying to ship water. You add water to the line and shake! They are available in a wide variety of tones and colors. My fine mist nozzles have never clogged and spraying means no washing brushes. Use them to create custom background papers for layouts and cards, altered books and art, vintage collage and mixed media art projects. The new and improved versions do not require a sealant. (Some of these images were taken at odd angles intentionally to show the shimmer.) To find them, do a simple “Moon Glow's” internet search or call Lindy's Stamp Gang at 360-785-4588.
